LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is redefining the places where we live, work, learn, and play. LEED certifications are transforming the way built environments are designed, constructed, and operated – whether it's individual buildings and homes, or entire neighborhoods and even communities.
Our GreenStripe® and BlueStripe™ products can support several credits of LEED for Building Operations & Maintenance (per LEED v4):
  - Materials & Resources: Purchasing – ongoing. This credit is awarded for purchasing products that contain post-consumer recycled content, such as our BlueStripe products. It also recognizes purchases of FSC-certified paper products, such as our EcoGrip hot cup sleeve.

  - Materials & Resources: Solid Waste Management – ongoing. This credit is awarded for diverting materials from landfills and incinerators. If our GreenStripe products are commercially composted, this credit may be met. If our BlueStripe products are recycled, this credit may be met as well. Keep in mind that recycling post-consumer foodservice packaging is not available in every community. It's very important to check with your local recyclers to understand not only what materials are accepted, but what materials are regularly sold to entities who will truly recycle them into new products.
